My name is Pauline Dunn, I’m 77 years old and this is my story.

In October of 2015 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 non-small cell lung cancer. After many CT-Scans, X-Rays and MRI’s, I was told it was inoperable as the tumor had wrapped around the Pulmonary Artery and the Aorta. I was given two options, 3 months to live or take aggressive Chemotherapy & Radiation to help extend the minimal time line I was given. I chose the latter. It was debilitating leaving me exhausted and weak, with sleepless nights and the inability to eat solid food. Dehydration was a big problem as I could not hold anything down resulting in me having to go to the hospital every weekend for fluid infusions.

A very special person, who I trust with my life, approached me about trying CBD/THC oil to help alleviate the effects of the treatment. This oil was a 1 to 1 ratio of CBD and THC. Moving past the stigma attached to CBD/THC Oil was not easy for me but I thought “What do I have to lose”. So, I started taking a nightly dose of this oil. It did not happen right away but gradually I started to feel better, felt like eating and was getting better sleep. My energy was still low, but over time this improved to the point that I was able to return to work and function in my day-to-day life. Even test results from my blood work began to come back better than they ever were to the point my doctor thought she mixed up my file with someone else’s. The cancer has been in remission for the past eight years.

This is only a brief outline as to what CBD/THC has done and continues to do for me. I believe it saved my life. If you are concerned about using this form of treatment, please be aware, I was 65 years old and had never done any kind of drug in my entire life. I was very hesitant and concerned about this. I am so grateful for the person who cared enough to explain what this could do to help me with this debilitating disease called CANCER.
